That's a steal..Better snap it up. My Avanti (original Avanti Gold) was painted two years ago and it the paint cost me over $450 a gallon then. BTW I did change colors. Dave B.

Wait until 2009 when all solvent based paints will be finito. Water-based is coming so it will be interesting to watch the adjustment waltz when it comes blending water-based paint into an acrylic lacquer panel or even a base/clearcoat finish.

Createx has an auto paint now, that it water based.. base coat for bare metal, to anything BUT the clear coat.. thats the hold up at the moment of DIY.
