forum issues?

Minnesota is all messed up 'net wise.... Might be weather related.

When I first tried a few minutes ago, it wouldn't log on. But then I went first to the SDC main site and was able to get on the forum from there. Jerry

It's been spotty. Sometimes it's quick to log on, sometimes very slow.

In a way it is probably a good thing. Cabin fever has set in and the cackling and backbiting has set in again. The lame duck webmaster has had his fill and is looking forward to the day he is replaced. The recently injected moderators are trying their best. I feel for them.

I still {only read} the forum and have noticed a bit of jargon that would only entice me to respond bringing out the best, worst, or whatever my opinion or feelings {like who gives a chitt} about some of the innacurate info and classless commentary. Fact is, I'm banned. A harsh adjective has been added to my posts that were not deleted. Possibly, Bobby will grant me pardon or reinstatement before he folds his hand. He initally suspended me for a year commencing last April but since my wife's registering and being kicked off before even on post{ unfavorable by association I guess 36 yrs. and same ISP address} maybe lifetime, who knows. He does what he wants and disregards my e- mails. Must really be a troublesome, time consuming position not worth the effort for the miniscule compensation. jimmijim NDY-DYS FUBBS&KMFB quack quack

Moderators are ok by me but I don't thing a discussion forum needs any police protection and or warden. A bit of controversy keeps things relevant. Usually in a no police forum if a controversy develops it will run it's course and then subside. Most always the whooped puppy just walks away with his tail between his legs and goes searching for the truth or some more balls and comes back to battle or does in fact quit battling for Alpha status. The forum is a bit silly, However, there are some posters there that actually know their chitt bout Studebakers and then on the other hand, there's a whole lotta that don't know chitt from schit let alone Studebakers.
