Need water manifold #534562

My water manifold (part #534562) for my 56 President Classic is in pretty bad shape. I bought a used one last year but it doesn't fit (part #527794). This may be a tall order but if anyone knows where I can find one in half decent shape it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Tim

Henry,

Thanks for responding. There should be a part number on the engine side of the manifold. Can you see if you can find them and check back? The reason my spare doesn't fit is because the cover over the timing gear sits higher than other engines. Not sure why but it have no reason to believe that it is not original.

Thanks, Tim

"blacklarkviii carolina.rr.com>" I don't know about the p/n ,but I have a couple extras that have the 4 bolt

I think there were at least two versions of the 4-bolt manifold, one for the cars with the fuel pump on the stand and one for cars with the fuel pump on the timing cover. I'm guessing the one you tried that didn't fit is for a '54 or earlier car. (don't have my books handy to confirm)

I believe N8 is correct. I have a water manifold on a 56 Pres. parts car. Barry

Tim,

The one s I have are p/n 1547210, or at least this is the number stamped on the back of the manifold. It is a 4-bolt goose neck type. Will this help?
