Here in the mid Alantic region of the east coast we had a chain of food stores named "Food Lion". The Chinese has bought them out and has changed the name to "Bloom". Does any one know what the name Bloom translates into Chinese means????. I'm not sure I really want to know! Hell they own half of the US now and and more than you and I would want to know about how many T notes they have bought.

Unless things have changed very recently, Food Lion is owned by a Belgian food retail group. Bloom is also owned by the same group and is an upscale food store (separate chain from Food Lion and I'm no fan of Food Lion). There are stores in Purcelville, Leesburg, Frederick and other high dollar areas in the DC area. Paul Johnson
Paul I have had several employees of the Food Lion here in Martimsburg tell me and my wife that they were bought by the Chinese. I was just going on what was told to us. Who in the hell knows anymore.
Isn't that redundant? :(
