I tossed in a low ball bid on this car, apparently the owner does not know the cars value, because I hit reserve at 4K. He'll be very happy with the way the bidding goes I predict. The poor guy thinks it's a straight eight. It's a good thing he put it on ebay instead of offering locally for that amount.

Actually I tend to believe it has been sold to a buyer in violation of eBay policy. But we will have to watch this sellers activity for a few weeks. If he was a naive as he claimed to be the reserve wouldn't have been that high from the get go. If it was as nice as the pictures showed (detailing and paint covers lots of little details) he would have obtained a somewhat educated opinion on its value. Just a thought but could be wrong. One other note, was the "straight 8" for V-8 a troll comment to make potential bidders think he was naive? looks like it could be the V-8 model to me. What is this cars real reasonable value. Zero feedback means it doesn't really matter to lose eBay privileges for a couple thousand bucks. My guess is a speculator bought it. Damn I'm cynical.
