Things I Learned So Far This Week (ot)

1) OT means nothing to some people...
2) Being nice to an airline counter clerk at 4:30am has it's dividends.
3) Being nice to the harried gate clerk at 10:00am (after the 4:30am guy messed up) pays even bigger dividends..
4) You can break the nose gear forging on a B-58 Hustler by towing it with flat tires through the mud.
5) No matter how much cold prevention crap you take, infected Yankee's will share to a fault.
6) Always take time go go see your mom when you get the chance.

Ok, Why were you towing a B-58 Hustler through the mud or anywhere for that matter??

And why did it have such a short service life???

I want to hear the story behind #4.

Back in 1960, I used to build a chassis for a "Photo Recorder" that was part of the instrumentation for the B-58 when I was employed by Kaman Aerospace.
