I have a 97 outback, 2.5 motor manuel gearbox. When it gets cold out ( below 50f ) and you drive away with the car cold, the idle stays up around 2000 rpm, if you sit for about 45 seconds or so it will slowly come down, but even then some times it will hover around 1200 rpm.
