COBB ECU Re-mapping

Just wondering if anyone out there has tried the ECU Remapping software from COBB, found at

I was looking for information on performation improvement and economy change to see whether it was worth the cost for the upgrade. Also I would be interested in any info on other upgrade of this type that are offered by other companies that people have tried and liked or even didn't like (so that I can stay away from them).
