Forester Rear Door

I have just bought a 2000 Forester which I think is a great car.The only, small, problem I have is with closing the rear door (I'm talkingabout the big one at the back - hatchback?). Mine doesn't fully latch unlessgiven a firm push all the way. If I push it within 6 inches and allowgravity/spring pressure to take over it doesn't latch.Does anyone have an adjustment method for this?Thanks,Steve

I don't doubt for a moment that you are what you claim to be. However, subject matter experts are not absolved from standards of decent behavior - even on the Internet.
