Forster vs Outback 35th anniv wagon

Dec 04, 2003 2 Replies

We are trying to decide between a 2004 Forester XT auto (without premium pack) and the 2004 Outback wagon 6 cylinder 35th anniversary model.

Our main concerns are driving comfort, good ride, and comfortable front seats on long distance drives.

Any advice in comparing the two would be most appreciated.

Thanks Mina

We compared the two (well, almost- it was the OBW LL Bean) and went with the OBW. We found it to be more comfortable than the XT, and it has a much nicer interior. Not nearly as peppy as the XT, but certainly peppy enough. Others have found the XT to be more comfortable. Go figure.

May I suggest you take them for a test drive and purchase the one you feels best for you.

Both vehicles offer they things you're looking for. No one here knows who you are or your personal preferences so any advice would not be relevant.
