For unknown reasons the passenger side headlight plug has melted, crumbled and stopped working. Should I manually re-wire it or try to find a new plug? If I should find a new plug, where do I find it?

For unknown reasons the passenger side headlight plug has melted, crumbled and stopped working. Should I manually re-wire it or try to find a new plug? If I should find a new plug, where do I find it?
buy a aftermarket plug and rewire it. I use soder and heat shrink. Thats what we do at the dealership
