Only Subaru magazine

I can't find anything about it on the site. I've never got a copy and purchased my Subie new from the dealer in August 2003.

That's odd? I've never noticed an issue with the heater. And the steering is anything but quick. Drive and EVO or STi and then you will know quick! I guess it all depends on what you are used to driving. I hear lots of folks talking about how fast the Forester XT is, but I think it's about average for speed.

As one who alternates between a wrx for commuting and a suburban for towing the boat on weekends I have no clue what he's talking about either.

Hrm. Smells like desperate FUD by someone whose dealer screwed them. I have nothing but good things to say about my Subaru dealership, and I've gone from a WRX to an STi. People like the above are *not* the target audience of cars like these--more's the pity these people don't realise this before they let themselves be brainwashed by the propaganda that really isn't aimed at them to begin with. I couldn't be happier with my STi. =] So far so good, and well on-track to keeping it longer than a year.

Cross your fingers for me SilverFXT!

Same here. I have had mine (STi) for more than a year and a half. I love the thing. Had absolutely no problems, routine maintenance, and the car does what it was advertised to do and more. I couldn't be happier with it.
