I got mine from Flat4Engineering.com - they're the canadian (Subaru of Canada) black mats with the STi logo. Very nice. I have no idea why they didn't come with the car or why you can't even get them from US dealers.
I was using the Subaru rubber mats that I bought from my local dealer, but they fell apart quickly and didn't fit particularly well. I recommend just avoiding them and getting the real STi mats.
