1980 plymouth volari will not start

i have a 1980 plymouth volari It will crand but will not start.it is getting gas and spark .Any help would be appriciated

Does it catch then die when you release the key? that's the usual failure mode and indicates a bad ballast resistor (fortunately a cheap part)

..."fixed" a '69 Valiant once with a shop rag and paper clip; there's a few girls out there that still think I'm the real life MacGuyver for that one ...

If it's getting gas and it's getting spark, then it's a timing issue.

I suspect otherwise, though. Does it even sputter at all?

What makes you think it is getting gas and spark?
