93 Maxima won't start in rainy conditions

I'm baffled. My sons' 93 Maxima (V6) refuses to start when it's raining. The engine turns over, but won't start. I'm not familiar with electronic ignition, so I don't know where to start trouble shooting. I do know that the fuel pump is delivering fuel, the battery is fresh. If the weather is sunny, the car starts right up.

Any hints?

Take a look at the distributor cap and rotor. Used to have a Porsche that had a bad habit of carbon tracking the cap, and once that happened it absolutely refused to start in cold wet weather whether or not it was raining that bad.
