'99 Forester: Clicking sound when turning. Not CV joints

I have a a '99 Forester that makes a clicking/clunking sound when accelerat ing and turning. It seems worse when going uphill or when the car is cold. Sounds like CV joints right? But I have had the axels replaced twice now. B oth times, the noise goes away for a while, and then within a week or so, i t comes back. The noise seems to be coming from the front right side of th e car, and happens when I am turning right. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If it "goes away for a while then comes back"after an axle change, then, most likely

1) the axles are cheapo aftermarket, or 2) there is rust between the wheel and the hub.

I don't think it is bad parts. I have had them replaced at two different shops and I know they used different parts. I had them replaced last Wednesday, and heard the noise again this morning. I don't think the axels are wearing out.

Get it up on the lift and start pushing and prodding on things. For all you know it could even be a bad spring, a bad shock bushing, or something like that. You have to be able to make it happen on the lift in order to tell where the sound is coming from and that might involve several people.

That's nonsensical. You're missing something, besides including the mileage and any front-end work that has/not been performed that might suggest you have any serious interest in your issue. -----
