I'm doing up an engine for my toy car and the aluminum parts are still grungy after cleaning. 0

Does anyone have a method or know a chemical cleaner to clean up aluminum- as in manifolds, brackets, etc.

There are plenty of metal-specific polishes ... but I often use automotive polishes for bare aluminum.
