Dear Randy,

Here is the best advice you'll get....Go down to the main public library and in the technical reference area you'll find top-quality "MOTOR" manuals. Step by step pictoral representation, actual component testing and specifications, and much much more. These books cannot be taken out of the library so bring some change for the photo-copier. (Dont confuse this with the worthless rubbish sold in auto parts stores.)

Just a thought for you. Chrysler makes CPS's with poor seals on the electrical plug for the Jeep line of vehicles. If they are the same, then a clean of the plug and socket for the CPS with a spray contact cleaner might be all it needs. WD40 will do in a pinch. Putting some dielectric grease on the plug's seal skirt after helps to keep it clean longer.
