Who? the Libertarians that write that rag and don't understand the concept of public transportation or the reporters? I've heard horror stories about people who wanted to see Sebring and had no way to get there because they didn't drive to Florida or rent a car. Think of That Alabama episode of Top Gear, but without the cars or any of those slogans.

(/miller mode> Not meaning to go on a rant here, but I believe that was the direction of your post wasn't it?

(''They'') I was refering to those crooks in fed govt.

That Alabama thing in Top Gear, at the gas station, actually that was in Bagdad,Florida.About ten something miles Northeast of Pensacola. If you have a map of Florida or a Rand McNally Road Atlas, you can look it up. I don't think there is a Bagdad,Alabama. cuhulin

Ok. We'll agree to disagree. One small point however. I live in a city that has a million population. Aside from four lane roads with traffic lights we have only one 6 lane expressway going east-west. We don't get traffic jams. Ever. We have only buses. It works. It's not left wing bull. Busses *do* piss off some drivers. Think Bavaria...

No, It was *after* they crossed the Alabama Border. And stopped for gas. Or tried to. They marked up the cars in Bagdad Fl. before that. I've seen it about 4 times. BBC Canada runs Top gear 7 days a week.

No there isn't.

We see different ones than you do. We don't *really* get BBC per se. No World service, things like Mike Holmes and other Canadian shows thrown in. Aside from the occasional Black Adder and Johnathon Ross (who's show I've never seen - think That Glick show that the guy from SNL and SCTV did a while back) it's all "female" content aside from Top Gear and the above.

The *one* episode I haven't seen is the one where they go to Viet Nam and ride scooters and Motorcycles. I've seen bits of it. Like the backup bike: a micro motorcycle painted with nothing but US flags and a Radio playing "Born in the USA". There's also a very distrurbing scene with Mr. Slow in obvious hypothermia from rain.
