'04 Cavalier A few times, going up a hill that was a little slick with packed snow, it seemed like I got no response when I gave it more throttle. The "low track" light was on, so I assume this was traction control in action.
My question is, whether this is always a good thing. I've been driving in snow for a long time (not that that means I'm doing it right); my intuition is that, even if the wheels are slipping, sometimes more throttle can help keep you moving and in control.
Am I just wrong? It wouldn't be the first time.
