Turn signal problem

Nov 27, 2006 2 Replies

Have a '04 Pontiac Montana and the right turn signal has that fast flashing signal that you usually see when a bulb is burnt out. I tried replacing both bulbs in the front (forward and side bulbs) and the rear, but still getting that fast flash. The side bulb flashes and the forward bulb does not, although it is lit. Checked the fuses and those are fine. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Some cars flash fast when there is too little current, some flash fast when there is too much current.

Could be a socket shorting out.

o.k....could be the turn signal switch itself. You did not mention the four ways and how they act when turned on..... could be the switch ..Good luck...Brian
