My 1999 Grand Prix GTP has heat only on the driver's side but the passenger side seems to work great on both heat and cold. Can anyone explain how the system works and what may be wrong with my system. Thanks

Is this the manual or automatic climate control system?
The heat and a/c are normally fully adjustable for both the driver and passenger side. Is there a vent door malfuntioning on the driver side, since all I get is full heat thru the a/c vents on that side. The passenger side works great and is fully adjustable for heat and a/c. Any clues on how I can fix the driver side?
It is the automatic system.
There is a motorized actuator on each side of the heater/A/C module in the dash that controls the airflow (through the heater core or not) for the driver's side and the passenger's side. I would guess that the driver's side actuator isn't working..
