Hey, just a tip...When?s the last time you lowered your spare tire? I checked mine out the other day before a trip and the hoist mechanism was rust frozen. Fortunately, with a lot of WD-40 and hassle it loosened up. My previous truck, it was too late and I had to Dremel cut the chain thru the hub. Not fun! Check yours before it?s too late!
