Having lived on military bases in the past for many years, I believe the E-nothings, still have sense enough to understand DRL verses full headlights.
Check with base security for advice.

Of course...gee, they give these guys guns don't they? one would expect some small smattering of clues wouldn't one?...
I agree with Tom. I've been on and off several bases in past months with rentals that have DRL's with no problems. Chances are that Jeff is only assuming there's a problem.
Knowing many of those who they stick on gate duty, no.
