Michelin is the best choice. Assuming 175-65-14 size, the best is the MX4 (dry and rain), then the Harmony (rain and snow), then the Symmetry (cheapest).
The Harmony has the best overall ratings and price.
Get round ones.
I have a 2003 Echo 2dr Sedan. I replace the stock tires every winter (I live in Saskatchewan) with Blizzak Winter tires. I got a pair of
175-70-14s. On bare pavement, I find the car rides and handles better on those tires. I also noticed that when going through radar, the stock tires are 5kph slow @ 110 kph and the Blizzaks are dead accurate.
