help with mx73 starting problems?
The place that you are taking the car to seems to think that something is amiss with the ignition system so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they are finding a no spark condition.
Engines need 3 things to operate - fuel, air, and ignition, all at the proper moment.
What brand are the various ignition parts?
Igniters tend to fail for good, not intermittently.
Is there any engine oil in the distributor?
Thats what they tell me
original
That's what I think as well
No.
They are going to need an ignition system wiring diagram in order to check every circuit. I'd suspect the coil or a loose wire somewhere between the coil and distributor.
