help with mx73 starting problems?

88 cressida, this is the problem wouldn't start last fall, turns over but no fire up, towed to garage, new rotor cap and wire, works fine till 2 weeks ago, same thing turns over no fireup, tow to garage, they play around and finally tell me needs new igniter/coil, they install a used one works for two start ups then nothing, wait for tow truck, tow truck driver and I try to start it and it starts, drive for 2 days then guess what no fire up, waited 20 minutes then fired up went straight to garage, he says it may have been a loose wire and it should be fine now, goes 5 days and same thing mechanic visits car he can't start it, he tows it in to his shop, he tries it at the shop and it starts. says he can't fix it now that it starts, I take it home it is in my garage, I am going over the ignition wires with a fine tooth comb right now but would appreciate any one who can tell me what is going on. I will look at ecu for loose or damaged wires as soon as daughter gets home with glove box key. Thanks, gerry
