navigation on the Toyota Sienna

Hi

I would like to ask about the GPS (navigation system) built into some Sienna minivans if they are good and how good they are. And BTW which of the the added are better Pioneer touch screen or VDO with a remote control?

thanks for all your input, E.

Neither. Magellan RoadMate 700. It's portable. You can use it in any car you have. Or someone else's car when you are the passenger. Or your new car when you sell your previous car.

Built-in navigation systems are a bad deal. They over-charge for it when the car is purchased new. Maintenance/repair issues are a problem. They don't _make_ these units and they aren't experts on them. Finally, they over-charge for updates to the maps/database.

There are other decent ones besides the Magellan.
