We have a used 2003 Highlander that was inherited. At highway speeds the wind noise from the roof rack drives us crazy. Any ideas how to diminish the noise.

Turn up the volume or the radio or remove the rack, WBMA. ;)

Try repositioning the cross bars towards the rear of the rack, and make sure that the sunroof, if so equipped, closes so that the glass is flush with the top of the roof.

Don't laugh, but a lot of the crossbars were put on backwards at delivery; the arrows should point forward.
