One more question about my 1985 Toyota Tercel wagon...

I can't seem to drain all the oil out. I jack it up on one side, and I can only get 3 quarts drained out.

I have over-filled sometimes putting in the 3rd quart.

What's the trick?

The problem is that you only jack up one side. You need to turn the car over on it's top. They make a special cradle you can get at AutoZonedOut to hold it without denting the top.

Are you really that stupid or are you just a troll?

Drain in center. Oil pan flat. Put car in a tilt, oil drains to one side.

Think about this stuff and the answer will usually come to you. If you're a troll, then screw you.

Um, this car only holds 3.5 QTS. Three come out of the crankcase, and .5 comes out with the filter...

Check the manual to make sure, but I believe the 3A-C holds less than

4 QTS.

Well, actually, the filter I use holds about 8 ounces. I use the Mobil one because the oil stays yellow for so long.
