If only Bush was sincere when he said "we must never turn a blind eye to the suffering of the innocent at the hands of evil men". He should've added "...unless this suffering is occurring in parts of Africa which have no resource we need at the moment, as opposed to a region that has oil."

Bush has sent more money and resources to Africa than any other President combined. Not to rain on your parade but that is statistically a truth. Furthermore, Africas situation of AIDS and hunger could not be obolished by one nation going into Iraq. It would take a world intrusion to change out every corrupt government in that entire joint...

I said nothing about disease and hunger. I think you're a little light on the the past 10-15 years of Africa's history. Maybe you were busy with school or something. How old are you?

How do you think that hunger and starvation has taken place? Much of it has taken place because of "evil men" who do not allow for capitalism in said countries. The AIDS and disease situation can also be blamed on economy, just as much as it can be blamed on culture. People without any hope or money do not have vaccines and medicine at their disposal.

As for the oil dig... hate to break it to you, but you help the need for such resources just as I do. Betcha 50 bucks you use more oil than 10,000 Africans.

Okay, I'll bite! What has age got to do with understanding why it is wrong for so called leaders to keep other people in abject poverty? Is it a black vs white thing with you where people over a certain age are assumed to be racist? I don't get it.

I thought he said he served in Iraq, and was sometimes afraid of getting shot. That's perfectly understandable, but you'd think that after an experience like that, he wouldn't be so terrified of revealing his age. And, can you imagine what life will be like when his kids become teenagers? Stark terror!
