odometer disclosure statement??

If a car has a rebuild engine in it would the odometer statement have to state that as normal mileage or not the actual mileage?

The road miles is the important figure. A rebuilt engine may have an unknown number of miles on it.

An engine rebuild is considered maintenance and repair. The odometer statement only applies to the vehicle miles traveled. In many states, you are required to disclose any known accident damage repair. This will usually show up in a CarFAX search or dealer history if repaired by a dealer. If an insurance company paid for accident repairs, it will be in an industry database by VIN.
