Good. Lieberman is the lowest type of slime in politics. The republicans can have him.

Of course you'd say that because he does'nt support the democrat cut and run tactic. I'd say this is a shot across the bow for the dimmies.

No. Lieberman is owned by the insurance industry. To his credit, he does nothing to hide it.

He should go ahead officially become a repuglican. Then he can cross his fingers and do the "wait and pray" with the rest of you.

I didn't put him on the ticket.

I would've like Cuomo for president, Gore for VP. Gore would've been acceptable, not perfect. Cuomo, obviously, would've been far more than some so-called Americans deserve.

Yeah, only "seven years ago"........you say it like it was last week. Imagine that, someone changing in only seven years!!

I wish he wouldn't. He is so liberal on most everything else other than the Iraq War that he would easily be identified as a RINO republican and end up voting with the Democrats on every other issue anyway.

That would depend on who's paying him to vote.

He would have provided me with some of your money :)

Yup, 99% liberal and 100% Israel-first.

"Mr. Speaker, this is not about peace and war. That is what is going on over there, and they are not going to stop fighting just because we go in there.

"I wholeheartedly support withholding funds ... . Although it is a drastic step and ties the president's hands, I do not feel like we have any other choice. The president has tied our hands, gone against the wishes of the American people, and this is the last best way I know how to show my respect for our American servicemen and women. They are helpless, following orders. But we, we are in a position to stop this terrible mistake before it happens.

"I know what those soldiers are feeling. I was in the military for 29 years ... .

"Thirty years ago when I was sent to Vietnam in a similar situation, Vietnam started out as a peace type mission, no defined goal, no exit strategy, no idea whose side we were on, and a created incident to gain support of the Congress. A peacekeeping mission? Come on. Does this not sound just like a carbon copy? I think it is.

"What is going to happen when our guys get over there, and if the rules of engagement apply, and they get shot at, and we start shooting back, what are their people going to say when we start killing them ... ? We will do it, and we will get chastised for it."

Republican Sam Johnson of Texas, December 13, 1995, opposing intervening in Bosnia.

Did Gore have a 99% liberal rating in the Senate?

And that would make him different from Collins, Snowe, Chafee, etc., how?

He's an honest politician, then. For sale but, once bought, stays bought and is honest about it.

Gosh, you're awfully hard to please.

Prime example: seven years ago there was a dimwitted governor in Texas, and seven years later this guy has turned into a world-class war criminal.

He is the most powerful member of the US Senate.

It is GREAT to see the Surrender Monkey Dim's kiss his ass....LOL

Spott, this is so YOU:
