Micky is out on her Anti Obesity Tour, telling the kids that they need to eat more carrots and celery but the First Man drags the President of Russia off to the Hamburger Summit at Ray's Hell Burger Cafe.
Seems to me, good eating begins in the home. If Shelly can't get her man to eat right, how will she ever get the school kids to eat right? Surely, her plan is bigger than getting the toys out of the Happy Meals ...
FOR THE RECORD I _really_ don't care that The Prez eats the Double-Double Triple MegaBurger three or four times a week. He's a big boy, he can eat whatever he wants. The scrawny bastard could use a few more double-double triples, if you ask me. I also accept the notion that our kids are way too fat, and they should cut back on the Happy Meals and opt for the carrots and celery. So, the agenda and the actual diets aren't my beef (no pun intended), but I really don't think that Micky has the physique to show anybody what a good diet consists of. As a parent, it's MY decision on whether or not I load my kids up with Happy Meals, or not.
With Nationalized Health Care, how long will it be before The Government says, "Johnny can't get his diabetes medicine under The Plan because you fed him too many Happy Meals." "MIcky has been telling your kid to not eat that crap," they will say, "but he didn't listen so we're not gonna cover his illness. Please pay the receptionist $500, when you leave."
