Well, a lot of state governors have line item vetos to put a stop to that sort of stuff, but hey, what am I talking about. Until 1984, we voted for one, two or three legislators here in Illinois. What a ripoff.

We tried getting the line item veto to the President but the Supreme Court declared it unconstitutional. Remember the Contract with America?
