Spitzer sent people to jail for doing precisely the same thing he did.

It was Gingrich doing himself in, by challenging Clinton for a second time (the first time was when he tried to shut down the government over the budget) and losing. It has nothing to do with Gingrich being behind every conspiracy in the world.
