Put the vehicle on a lift, remove the lug nuts, remove the wheel.

Do what, take the tires off without taking the hubs apart? You can't take the hubs apart until after you take the wheels off, so your question makes no sense.

Take the lug-nuts off and drive...little hard on fenders, studs etc, but it'll take the wheel off pretty efficiently...
