How difficult is it to replace clutch on 1983 Tercel SR5? It doesn't need it quite yet, but am trying to anticipate tools, skills and cost to R/R the clutch.
Thanks,
LEe

No more difficult than any other FWD car with a longitudinally mounted engine. You'll need a lift or a jack and 4 jackstands with enough lift so that you can drop the transmission from underneath.
A transmission jack would be helpful but not absolutely necessary if you and a helper are strong enough to hold it in place while someone attaches bolts.
You'll need a ratchet and metric socket set, a pry bar, safety glasses, and time. A set of metric combination wrenches might also come in handy. If you have a compressor, air ratchet, and impact gun, things will go faster.
