Yaris, Prius, Prius c

Driving to Florida from Ohio, would any of these be safe and comfortable or even tolerable? Are any other cars' colors as nice looking as the Sea Glass Prius? (light green; if you also think that it is nice looking)

Prius C is the Yaris with the Prius drivetrain. Neither the Yaris nor the Prius C was intended to be anything but a city commuter car; and in fact, everything I've read about the Prius C makes me want to run far away from it.

The regular Prius is supremely comfortable, not to mention getting better mileage than the other two.

I seldom stand on the same side of any line with Elmo, but he's dead on on this one. The C is nothing more than a Yaris with a Prius powertrain. A poorly executed version of the Prius to boot.

I think I read a very poor review of the C just last week. It was a report on the 5 Worst Cars on the market today, the Prius C was the first car listed. Run, do not walk, to the nearest exit.

And, for the journey you are getting ready to embark upon, the Prius is probably not the best choice anyhow. There are lots of cars that get better gas mileage than a Prius at highway speeds -- although the Prius is hard to beat for low speed driving where it can run primarily on battery power. The problem with the Prius is that your operating profile -- long distances at highway speeds -- does not play to its strong suit so you will not enjoy the features it has that draw you to it in the first place.

Thanks Elmo and Jeff. The Prius color mentioned was first noticed yesterday morning and seemed nice. I'm used to a CRV/Forester and am wary about the comfort of any cars, but these seemed small enough to get around in easily.
