2000 Camry: possible wiper sizes?

Question

I checked online and it appears the 2000 Camry calls for 21" and 19" wipers. Is it possible to put a 22" on the driver's side? 20" on the passenger's?

I want to get Canadian Tire teflon winter wipers and I think they come only in even sizes. I'm not near the vehicle so I can't measure the clearance. If 22 and/or 20 won't do the job, how bad an idea is it to drop a size? I know it's only 1/2" (since the bottom half-inch doesn't clear anything significant) but I figure the more clear glass the safer.

Hello fellow Canajun!I have the same car (actually mine is a 1999).  Canadian Tire has about 3 different types of winter blades, the most expensive of which (the Teflon) is twice the price of the cheap ones.  The Teflon doesn't come in the correct size for the passenger side but it does for the driver's side.  The cheap style (comes in a blue package) does come in the correct size for the passenger side.I bought the Teflon one for the driver's side and the cheap one for the passenger side.  I've been pleased with the performance of both blades in the month or so I've had them on.Interestingly, the genuine Toyota winter blades I bought last year didn't work out for me - they left smear marks all over the windshield such that I couldn't see.  Naturally, I discovered this at 50 km/h. I won't be buying those again!Andrew Webber wrote:

Didn't measure them, but I know on my factory replacement wipers, thedriver side is longer.

I have a '99, the 22" on the driver side works fine, but you won't be able to use 20 on the passenger side, either use 19" (I do) or go with

18". The 20" will overlap the windshield pillar (A pillar?). I used 18" last winter because there were no 19" at Costco, and they worked fine too. This year they had 16,18,19,20,22 and 24, so I got 19,20,22 and ended up returning the 2o's. Good luck!

and they say 22" and 21".

Went to a NAPA store and while they didn't know the sizes, the part numbers (602459 and 601959) suggest 24" and 19"! Does anyone know what these NAPA numbers represente exactly? Also for the Forester,

602259 and 601959 (which I infer are 22" and 19").
