92 camry reverse/backup lights

My lights don't come on? what could it be?


  1. Are the light bulbs working? (or asking in another way, are you getting voltage at the sockets?)

  1. The backup light switch IIRC is part of the neutral safety switch (not really sure about 92), so check the neutral safety switch (where the shift cables links to the transmission).

Here it is, the backup light swtich is a part of the neutral safety switch. But you need to make sure the cable is properly adjusted, and if you still don't see voltage from the backup light swtich then replace this $180+shipping part.
