When the head lights are on and the left turn signal is turned on the left turn signal blinks very quickly. If the head lights are turned off the turn signal blinks normally. Right side is not affected by turning on the head lights. Can someone please tell me what is causing this problem Thanks

I'd first look for a ground problem in the area of the front headlight/turn signal. The turn signal is probably finding a ground somehow through the headlight, as long as the headlight is off.
It may also be a similar problem in the stalk that controls the lighting. Toyota doesn't switch the voltages on/off; you're switching the Ground on/off.
allan, when you said it was possibly the turn signal, do you mean the turn signal switch in the steering wheel? Hilton
