air conditioner green light blinks occasionally

ideas ?

Do you actually *still* use that version of WordPerfect?

yup

i can program it

using wp51dos macro programming laguage

That, no doubt, would enable you to modify it to remove anything remotely resembling a "bug"??

My `02 had the same problem.Turned out to be low refrigerant. There was a leak in the sysytem . which had to be repaired at a cost of about $800.00 Canadian. adouble pipe had to be replaced which was not available aftermarket here.

Cost over $489.00 Canadian.Just for the part.

Could be your fan belt is loose though?

there are a few known bugs

easy to work around

thanks for reply

i'll check it

The AC compressor's RPM is significantly different from the engine's RPM. That's one of the reasons the light blinks. If you are low on refrigerant the compressor may be seizing up because of the lack of oil. Or the clutch wear over the years increased the "air gap" between the clutch plate and clutch pulley. Or simply a loose belt. An automatic tensioner isn't that expensive and everybody who's anybody uses it. Still working with jack screws on Toyotas!
