Camry Stereo Replacement Question

I have a 96 camry, and last Christmas, the stock cd player went out, and I had it replaced professionally with a mp3 player. Unfortunately, my car was broken into, and the pricks ripped out the mp3 player.

I still have the stock radio and cassette player which was removed when the mp3 player was installed. I just want something temporarily to listen to until I can get a permanent fix. It looks like all I have to do is plug in the connectors to the back of the radio. However, I don't want to risk messing up the electrical system so I wanted to ask first. Is it safe to just plug in the radio, and give it a try?

Prbably - assume the installer of the MP3 used a adapter wiring harness to go from the two OEM radio plugs to the MP3 (and didn't hack the OEM plugs off and throw them away!). Also assumeing the theifs didn't rip the OEM plus out when they got your MP3 player. Al you need it the $10 pocket and maybe the radio brackets (argh $30 from dealer) to install the radio. WalMart should have a cheap install kit that has crappy plastic brackets and the pocket for about $15. Good for a temporay install.
