Car pulls to right after brake job

Aug 18, 2003 2 Replies

Hello all,

Last week I had my brakes making real loud rubbing noise. I found that the driver side rotor is badly scored.

Went to the toyota dealer and they inspected and said I need to replace brake pads and two rotors for $350.00. After the job is done I am observing the car pulling to right real bad and I need to hold the steering with hands else it will drift to left.

I heard that to take off the old rotors, if they do not come easily they hit hard with hamer to loosen them. Does this somehow caused the alignment to go bad?

TIA, vk

Its to bad you got suckered for 350. but make them fix whatever for free. Its their mistake. But im sure they wont agree. Complain to toyota

Take it back to the dealer an tell them to fix it. A brake job should always end with a test drive to set the pads. They didn't do it.
