Dealer damaged rim

Sep 05, 2003 6 Replies

I asked my dealer to replace my 2000 Camry's tiresand 3 hours later when I came back I found that there is a scrach one right rear metal rim, where there was a lead. Apparant they were not careful enough to insert the lead and scratch off the paint can I claim damage against them?

Frank

You can "claim" anything you want, but I doubt they will take responsibility. I have not idea why someone would get tires at a car dealership.

Frank, its nearly impossible to hammer on a weight on a steel rim without scratching.

SO DID you pay? YES. why ? you should have , settled first , stupid

Yes, stupid me. I should have take a look then pay. Now it's too late. A lesson learned.

sight...

the steel rim? oh boo-hoo. get small bottle ($1.25) of Testors model paint and touch it up --- and get on with your life.
