Gurgle sound 03 camry

Nov 22, 2006 3 Replies

My mom has an 03 LE with 15,000 miles.

At times (intermittent problem) she hears a gurgling sound when accelerating or going around a corner.

The only two things I can think of are air in the cooling system or if the gas tanks has baffles one could be damaged.

She can not tell the direction of the sound because she has no hearing in one ear.

Has anyone experienced a similar problem.

Thanks

Only time I heard anything like that was when the holes at the bottom of a door were blocked and rain sloshed around inside the door. Or at the bottom of the boot.

What don said....'03 CAM here. Go to the Toy dealer and shell out the outrageous bucks for a gallon of their extra special coolant imported from the slopes of Mt. Fujiyama, mix according to package directions and dump into the coolant reservior, not the radiator itself.

Fill to the MAX or FILL line, I don't remember what it says, exactly. Check within a day or two because you probably will need to top off once or twice or three times. These new sealed systems are a pain.
