HEADLIGHTS NOT TURNING OFF

Jun 21, 2004 1 Replies

I have a 1995 Toyota Camry Le, 105,000 miles on it and hope to get many more. All of a sudden, my headlights are not turning off when I shut the car off; previously the lights went out when I turned the key ; just had to get battery jumped because of it; battery is only one yr old.

Does anyone have any ideas why this may be happening; with all these laws about keeping headlights on road construction, bad weather, etc. this can be a problem for me. Never had to check my headlights before.

Thank you, Carol

Don't take your organs to heaven; heaven knows we need them here:)

Check the switch which turns on the dome light when the drivers door is opened. I have the same problem with my 1994 Camry. If the switch sticks, the lights stay on.
