I have a problem with the remote control on my 2002 Camry. If I use the remote to unlock the car, the engine stays immobilized when I turn the key in the ignition. A friend told me to keep locking and unlocking the door with the key until the car starts which it eventually did. Then I stupidly used the remote again and now I cant get the car to start at all. Can anybody help. Thanks.
Maybe a new battery in the remote might help.
========== I'd be checking iwth an alarm installer - or even better still, the actual installer of your alarm if available. Clearly, the alarm logic is malfunctioning. Could be as simple as a reset if one knows the procedure, but each system differs in the details.
