Just bought a 2000 Solara with the Homelink opener in the visor. The left button works just fine but when I press the middle and right buttons the little red light doesn't come on. Anyone know how to open it up properly to check the connections?

Have you programmed the middle and right buttons? I don't think the LED will light if there isn't any programming for the button.
I can't program them because they don't even light up. In the process for programming you have to hold down the button until the light starts flashing. No light - no flashing - no nothing. Maybe it is a loose connection but I'd like to know how to open up the cover without wrecking things.
