Check engine light came on today and I had it the code checked at the local auto store. Came up as a P 1175 code, "Cam control Fault". The person at the store didn't seem to know much about it. I can't get anyone to look at until next week and I need to travel about 500 miles to pick up my daughter. my queston is will it do ant harm to the engine driving it and does anyone have any information on what the problem is and how to correct it? Car seems to be running fine.
